About Me

I’m Jake.

I’m a designer, researcher, maker and problem solver from San Francisco. I build and deliver holistic solutions for populations generally overlooked and underserved.

I currently lead hardware for VotingWorks, a non-partisan, non-profit where I build and deploy secure, affordable, accessible voting systems for American elections.

I’ve designed, worked on, and and built payment solutions at Square, electric bikes for delivery workers, and residential and commercial furniture.

I did a Masters in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a BA in Geography from Middlebury College in Vermont.
